ABOUT LABF
LABF is the Literary and Artistic Brazilian Festival. Its first edition was in 2016. It is a showcase event that aims to bring together Brazilian culture and take it to the world.
Our target audience is good writers, poets and artists - who for some reason still don't get the recognition they deserve; it's the small publishers and the social projects that allow everyone greater access to education and culture.

The 2nd FLAB “TAKE THE CURTAIN OF THE PAST” and honors important names in our history who complete they year in 2023.
Our honorees:
There will be three days of a great and real “encounter of energies”.
The event intends to bring together in Lisbon teachers, writers, painters, Brazilian musicians, and foreign guests - virtually or in person - to show and discuss the Brazilian reality, creating a bridge that crosses our history from yesterday to the present day, bringing a little of the Brazil for those "away from home" and for those who don't know its rich cultural and artistic expression.

Our 1st trilingual anthology “EVOLUTIONS - in art, culture, politics and relationships" - will be in Portuguese, Spanish and Italian.
We will also have a contest for the best cover.
For kids
The "FLABinha” - children's version of LABF - the honoree will be MONTEIRO LOBATO.
We will do workshops with the children - accompanied by the doll Emília from the late Sítio do woodpecker yellow!:
